Larry Faust, Owner
Specialty: Creating synergy between IT systems and users for maximum productivity
Larry spent 20 years building a large therapy practice before he decided that building elegant business systems was more fun than fighting with insurance companies to get paid. Now 11 years after founding Leschi Consultants he continues to be amazed at how many similarities there are between therapy and technology consulting. He used to adapt environments and harness untapped abilities to help people with disabilities reach their potential. Now he implements IT resources and trains users in order to allow businesses to function at maximum productivity. In both careers he has loved making things work and helping others be successful.
Larry’s favorite place outside of Seattle is Shaw Island, and he loves getting out on the water there and appreciating the beauty of the San Juan Islands. Closer to home he enjoys golf, gardening and fly fishing. His wife Myra provides guidance to Leschi Consultants as a member of the Board, works part time as an occupational therapist with Providence Elderplace and is a private practice Care Manager. Larry’s daughter Katelyn attends Holy Names Academy in Seattle and spends much of her free time playing year-round soccer.
Rick Burleigh, Consultant
Specialty: Developing optimized IT systems and Drupal websites to meet unique customer needs
Building on his educational background in electrical engineering, Rick has extensive prior experience in software development and project management. Since joining Leschi Consultants in 2009, he has developed particular strengths in the areas of network system design, server management, backup systems, emerging hardware technologies and the Drupal content management platform for web development. Rick has great facility in combing the Internet to identify the best possible solution to clients’ unique requirements.
When Rick isn’t poking around the inside of a computer, he loves getting outdoors. His idea of a little exercise is a 50 mile bike ride, an overnight backcountry ski tour, or climbing almost any of the Cascade mountains. Rick lives in West Seattle with his wife Susan, who pursues two successful careers as a speech pathologist and a team director with Cookie Lee Jewelry.
Amy Darigol, Consultant
Specialty: Building custom WordPress websites and social networking pages that present a modern image
The newest member of the Leschi Consultants team, Amy attended Central Washington University’s IT and Administrative Management program. After relocating west of the mountains to Kent in 2007 she had the opportunity to apply her diverse repertoire of skills to administration and Internet marketing with a Kent engineering firm. Now with Leschi Consultants, Amy creates custom websites with WordPress, newsletters with MailChimp, and social networking pages for Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. She is currently expanding her skills with additional schooling in Web Database Development and E-Commerce and by reading books and blogs about internet marketing.
Outside of IT and marketing, Amy has profound interest in small business ownership, retail management, and jewelry design. She owns LuvCherie Jewelry and currently sells her jewelry designs on Etsy. Amy is an avid gamer of every game type. She also loves to read and learn. Amy currently lives in Kent with her husband, Grant, and their dog, Joxer. Grant is a Cost Accountant for High 5 Sportswear and graduated with a Masters of Accountancy from Central Washington University in 2003. Joxer is a 5-year-old Pembroke Welsh Corgi who spends his days napping, following his owners, and playing tug-of-war.
